“I received my revised parachute order yesterday. WEEKS before I expected it. Thank you so much! You all are fantastic!”

David M Snyder, Rocketry Hobbyist, 12/2/2021

“Fruity Chutes were quick to respond with useful information and assistance with their customer support. Their Peregrine ballistic parachutes work as advertised from our test runs. I would recommend Fruity Chutes and will be sure to use them again in future projects.”

Sean & Doug's Flight

"

Hi Gene,

I just wanted to send you a quick note to say how impressed we are with your chutes!

Doug and I recently flew a 2-stage minimum diameter rocket at Balls [2021 Rocket Launch] (O-3400 to N 1100). Long story short our forward closure blew on the booster 3 seconds into the launch. Our sustainer had both drogue (rocket man Mach 2 ballystic) and main (Fruity Chute Iris IFC 60) deployed around 7,500’ AGL. Due to an unknown electronic or programming error our sustainer lit ( 1/3 of the forward end of the booster with ignition electronics was still attached to the sustainer) with the N1100 motor and the drogue and Fruity Chute fully deployed. Both the chutes survived the full boost of this motor in several arcs over 11 seconds (airframe did zipper) but both chutes remained fully intact without a tear or stress on any of the stitching! Sustainer came down for a nominal recovery under chutes. Thought you may enjoy these unique photos from onboard camera! Thanks for making awesome stuff!

Stetind's EuRoC Win

"

Hello!

My name is Simen, and I am the mechanical lead at Propulse NTNU - a voluntary student rocket organization from Norway. You supplied us the components for the parachute system of our rocket Stetind last year.

I can inform you that all chutes, chords etc. worked flawlessly, and our rocket descended safely from an apogee of 30'000 ft.

Below are some pictures from deployment and descent. Our rocket Stetind competed in the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC), where we won our class!

Kind regards, Simen Flåtter Flo

“As a former member of the US Parachute Team, and as a FAA Licensed Senior Parachute Rigger, I am exceptionally picky about parachutes. The Fruity Chutes are not only made to manned parachute quality, but offer amazing efficiency - which is why they're the only parachutes in my rockets!”

James Flenner, FAA licensed Senior Parachute Rigger, former member of US Parachute Team

“Hi Gene, Just wanted to let you know that I got the parachutes today and I must say... WOW! I am impressed! I expected that they would be nice; I had no idea that they would be THIS nice! I am way more than just pleased and thought you should know!”

Cameron Tinder, Tinder Rocketry

“Thought I would send you some feedback about the fruity chute I received and have flown about half dozen times now. In a nut shell, the chute is really great and I am very pleased with its performance. I particularly like the thin fabric which packs great into a small compartment (2.5” dia.).”

Richard Nakka, Founder of Richard Nakka's Experimental Rocketry Website, 2/9/2015

"My L2 certification flight was also a lesson in altimeters being affected by Mach pressure changes as my altimeter deployed the Fruity Chute drogue at sub-sonic speeds! Thank goodness I used a Fruity Chute as it held up to the test with no damage! I re-packed my Fruity Chutes, adjusted my altimeter, installed another K motor and received my L2 certification!"

"Just wanted to let everyone know that I received a special order Fruity Chute yesterday and the quality of the chute was really, really nice. Far and away the nicest chute I’ve ever owned. Quick turnaround too. Highly recommended you check out Fruity Chutes if you’re in the market for a high quality chute."
